By registering and playing on Eterny MU, you agree to follow the rules written down below. Failure following the rules will lead to punishments described below each rule.

Rules can be edited, removed or added at any time. In case of any changes players will be notified as soon as possible.

Every aspect of the game (accounts, characters, items, etc.) are the property of the Eterny MU server and are protected by copyright and are treated as intellectual property.

Punishments listed down below only serve as a guideline, server staff may choose to increase or decrease punishments duration or type based on situations that occur. Any administration’s decision based on facts and proofs is considered fair.

1. General Rules

1.1.

Disrespectful attitude towards the server, its players or staff is forbidden.

Punishment: Ban from the server for 14 days.
1.2.

Selling game related stuff for real money or any kind of deal outside of Eterny MU is forbidden.

NOTE: In case of violation, depending on the situation, both sides receive a warning or items belonging to the deal are deleted from the game.
Punishment: Warning / Item removal.
1.3.

Impersonating players or staff members is forbidden.

NOTE: Impersonating a player or staff member by using a similar nickname or in any other way in order to damage his / her reputation or to get personal gain will lead to a permanent ban from the server.
Punishment: Permanent ban from the server.
1.4.

Any type of misleading the administration is forbidden.

NOTE: Sending fake information (including screenshot or video) to mislead administration, to set someone up or to avoid punishment is applied to this rule.
Punishment: Ban from the server for 3-28 days.

2. Chat Rules

2.1.

Posting malicious links is forbidden.

NOTE: Any type of link that gathers personal information or downloads malware onto a computer in order to cause damage, such as ip grabbers, account stealing, etc.
Punishment: Permanent ban from the server.
2.2.

Death or suicide threats / encouragement is forbidden.

NOTE: Telling anyone to kill themselves or implying them to do so. General real life threats also apply to this rule.
Punishment: Mute / Ban from the server for 7 days.
2.3.

Spam / Flooding the chat is forbidden.

NOTE: Chat spam is considered as sending 5 or more messages in quick succession, flooding the chat consistently with the same content is also considered spam.
Punishment: Mute for 1 - 3 days.
2.4.

Advertising another server, community or company is forbidden.

Punishment: Permanent ban from the server.
2.5.

DDOS or DOX threatening is forbidden.

NOTE: Threatening to do any of the mentioned things will result in permanent ban from the server. DOX is considered any real life protected personal information about a person.
Punishment: Permanent ban from the server.
2.6.

Racial / Hate speech is forbidden.

NOTE: Both are not welcome on our server, using it directly or implied doesn’t matter.
Punishment: Ban from the server for 7 days.
2.7.

Use of obscene language or humiliation of players is forbidden.

NOTE: Is only applied if it’s used repeatedly, doesn’t have to be aimed at anyone. Humiliation of players also applies to this rule.
Punishment: Mute for 1 - 7 days.
2.8.

Mentioning or humiliating family members and relatives is forbidden.

NOTE: In case of mentioning 3 - 7 days mute is applied, in case of humiliating or offending 3 - 7 days ban from the server is applied. In more serious situations punishment can be extended.
Punishment: Mute / Ban from the server for 3 - 7 days.

3. Game related Rules

3.1.

Usage of macros or any kind of software to automate tasks is forbidden.

NOTE: This applies to automatic combo, potions macros / scripts or any other automatic tasks that gives player benefits over other players.
Punishment: Ban from the server for 7 to 28 days depending on the script.
3.2.

Usage of any type of hack is forbidden.

Punishment: Permanent ban from the server.
3.3.

Modification of the server files for your own good is forbidden.

NOTE: Modifications that in some way increase the performance are allowed, such as modifications that limit effects, glow or other graphics related objects as long as objects are not removed completely for your own benefit.
Punishment: Ban from the server for 7-28 days.
3.4.

Usage of any server or game related bugs / exploits that benefit you over others is forbidden.

NOTE: In case of a bug / exploit server staff must know about it in order to fix it as soon as possible, therefore this rule can also apply if the player intentionally is not reporting it even though not using it.
Punishment: Ban from the server for 7-28 days.
3.5.

Evading a punishment is forbidden.

NOTE: In case one of your accounts is banned / muted and a player uses another account to break the rules, doubled punishment is applied.
Punishment: Double of existing punishment.
3.6.

Any interference to the game master (GM) during events is forbidden.

NOTE: At first interfering player receives a verbal warning, in case if warning is not perceived, player can be disconnected from the server and as a last punishment player can be banned from the server for 1 day.
Punishment: Verbal warning / Disconnect from the server / Ban from the server for 1 day.
3.7.

Use of obscene language in character’s name is forbidden.

NOTE: In case a player is banned for breaking this rule, he / she must contact administration to resolve the situation.
Punishment: Permanent ban from the server until nickname is changed.

4. Castle Siege Rules

4.1.

During Castle Siege (CS) it is forbidden for players from different guilds to be in the same party.

NOTE: This applies to automatic combo, potions macros / scripts or any other automatic tasks that gives player benefits over other players.
Punishment: Ban from the server for 3-7 days.
4.2.

During Castle Siege (CS) it is forbidden for guilds to join forces against the third guild.

NOTE: We respect fair fights therefore we want to make it as fair as possible, no allying during Castle Siege, every guild on its own - all for one and one for all.
Punishment: Ban from the server for 7 - 14 days.
